In this one-week course (see https://www.icts.res.in/program/gws2024 for details) and spread across five lectures, I gave an elementary introduction to black hole superradiance, the formation of bosonic clouds, their dissipation into gravitational waves, and how these may be leveraged to search for of yet unknown new ultralight bosonic degrees of freedom extending the Standard Model of Particle Physics. The lectures were augmented by a series of tutorials solidifying covered concepts and material. Recordings of the lectures are available on YoutTube (see below).
