I am a computational relativist and theoretical astrophysicist interested in questions about fundamental physics at the intersection of strong gravity, high energy astrophysics, and particle physics. The focus of my research lies on studying compact objects in highly dynamical and extreme astrophysical environments to search for new physics beyond the Standard Model of particle physics, to understand the nature of black holes, and the underlying theory of gravity.
I received a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Humboldt Universität in Berlin as well as a Master’s degree in Physics from ETH Zürich. After my doctoral studies at the Perimeter Institute, I am now an Associate Research Scholar in the Gravity Initiative at Princeton University.
